Whether you choose the 12.9-inch model or the new 9.7-inch model, iPad Pro is more capable, versatile and portable than anything that’s come before, but still there are many aspects you should know before choosing the one among them.

Pricing is the very first thing all of us check out while comparing two similar gadgets and with different memory capacity, the pricing is also different.

Camera Features of Both iPad Pro Models
The 9.7-inch iPad Pro has 12 Megapixels of iSight Camera and 5 Megapixels FaceTime HD Camera, and the best thing is that both of these cameras come with flash.
Whereas the 12.9-inch iPad Pro has 8 Megapixels of iSight and 12 Megapixels of FaceTime HD camera without the flash feature.
However, both of these models contains many other essential camera features such as Autofocus, Face Detection, Burst Mode, Timer Mode, Photo Geotagging, Panorama etc.
The Picture Quality of Panorama Feature
Both of these iPad Pro models have Panorama feature with their iSight camera but have different picture qualities. The Panorama of 12.9-inch iPad Pro can capture up to 43 Megapixels of pictures whereas due to the 12 Megapixel of iSight camera of 9.7-inch iPad Pro, it has the capacity of capturing Panorama pictures of up to 63 Megapixels.
Video Recording Features
Both of these iPad Pro models have great video recording features but still to some extent Apple’s new iPad Pro 9.7-inch defeats iPad Pro 12.9-inch.
Following table explains where the 12.9-inch iPad Pro beat hollow by 9.7-inch iPad Pro:
|9.7-inch iPad Pro||12.9 iPad Pro|
|4K HD video recording (3840 by 2160)||1080p HD video recording|
|Slow-motion video support for 1080p at 120 fps and 720p at 240 fps||Slow-motion video support for 720p at 120 fps|
|Cinematic video stabilisation||Video stabilisation|
|Continuous autofocus video||Tap to focus while recording|
SIM Card Options
Both of these iPad Pro models have Nano-SIM card slots and both of them are compatible with Apple SIM. But, still the 9.7-inch iPad Pro has some plus points.
An Apple SIM comes installed on the 12.9‑inch iPad Pro only in a number of countries whereas the 9.7‑inch iPad Pro with an embedded Apple SIM is available all over the world. So it’s easy to purchase a mobile data plan directly on your iPad when you’re abroad with no long-term commitment.
With the above comparison, it’s undoubtedly all clear that iPad Pro 9.7-inch is launched in much improved way with many extra features, that’s why it will be the right choice instead of Apple’s 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
However, 12.9-inch iPad Pro is not a bad choice but after the launch of the new 9.7-inch iPad Pro with it’s improved features and lesser pricing, 12.9-inch iPad Pro looks a bit faded among it.
So, all I want to say is 9.7-inch iPad Pro will be the best choice among these two. Still, if the screen size is a bigger concern for you than other improved features and less pricing, you may also go with 12.9-inch iPad Pro as it’s also the ultimate option.
