I’ve been thinking to make my Windows 7 laptop a WiFi hot spot, but didn’t find the way. Even while going in the path of searching the way to turn my PC into a WiFi hot spot, one of my friend told me about a software called WinHotSpot that enables your PC to share internet connection with other devices.
Yet I’m using a Reliance Internet service on my Windows 7 laptop with the help of Reliance modem. Even while I can convert my WiFi enabled laptop into a WiFi hotspot with the help of WinHotSpot software. I think many questions may be arising in your mind like where to download this software, how to install in PC and how to start sharing internet? Don’t worry, I’ve answers of all your questions. So, give a look on the following terms.
- First of all Download WinHotSpot.
- After the file is downloaded, double click on it’s setup. You’ll see the following screen. It is the license agreement of this software. Click on Next and in new pop up dialog box Click on Agree.
- As you click on Agree, the setup will start downloading.
- After the downloading will finish, a new screen appears in front of you. Here you need to fill up details like Hotspot name, enter a password for your hotspot and which internet you are sharing. At last Click on Start.

You have done. Now, it’s time to try to turn your WiFi enabled PC/laptop into a WiFi Hotspot. So, just look the name of your HotSpot in the other device and as you try to connect it will ask the password. So, give the password you created in the above step. That’s all.
