Yes Friends! Chinese handset maker Gionee said that its smartphone Gionee Elife S5.1 enters Guinness Book of World Records as the slimmest phone in the world, which comes with 5.1 mm body and includes both glass & metal.

Currently this handset has been launched in China and will soon land in Indian market by first week of November as declared by firm.

Arvind Vohra India Head of Gionee Smartphones said “we are excited to have made it to the Guinness World Records for the world’s thinnest smartphone category. The Gionee Elife S5.1 has been launched in China and will be available in India by early November” to PTI.
