So, after the date 13th January 2015 you won’t get any type of security updates, software updates etc and Microsoft will not guarantee about the hacking and virus attacks on Windows 7 operating system after ending the support.
As previously Microsoft has also ended the extended support of its Windows XP operating system on 8 April 2014. Now its time to stop mainstream support for Windows 7!
Ending Only Mainstream Support Not The Extended
Windows 7 mainstream support is ending and users will face the same problems which came when Windows XP support was ended. So, all the private and government systems work on Windows 7 should beware of hacking and virus attacks.
However, now only mainstream support is ending and extended support will be available till 2020. But users must pay for extended support in Windows 7 operating system.

That’s why company is going to end Windows 7 mainstream support on 13th January 2015 but extended support will be available for more 5 years.

After ending the mainstream support the extended support will also be ended on 14th January 2020. Not only this but in October 2014, the validity of Microsoft Office 2010 service pack 1 will also finish.
