Headline #3: Facebook is Shutting Down FeedFriend
The once-popular social feed aggregator FriendFeed will be winding up and shutting down on April 9 this year. This service was bought by Facebook in 2009 for $15 million in cash plus $32.5 million in Facebook stock. Facebook is shutting it down because it is no longer popular among users and as a result, is no longer viable to run.

Google on Thursday announced that it is shutting down its Google Code service on January 25, 2016. The Mountain View firm blamed the growing share of spamming or abusive projects on the service as developers migrated away from the Google Code to other popular project hosting services such as GitHub and others. And this is the main reason for shutting down Google Code.

Amazon is celebrating its Appstore’s fourth birthday on Sunday, and to celebrate the occasion, on Thursday announced a new Free App of the Day Bundle with 34 paid Android apps and games worth up to $105 (roughly Rs. 6,600) available for free. While Amazon has not detailed the period this offer, however it is expected to end on Sunday on the birthday itself.
