Deleting Google Maps History in Android
Open the Google Maps application on your Android smartphone and touch the side menu > Settings > Maps history. (Make sure you’re signed into your account on your device).
As shown in the above screen, touch the Cross icon next to the entry you want to delete, and then tap Delete.
In this way, you can delete all the entries in your Google Maps history one by one. But, remember that deleting your Maps history won’t free space from your phone or tablet’s storage. To do this, you need to clear application data from Google Maps. For this. go to smartphone Settings > Application Manager > Google Maps Icon and here tap on Clear data to permanently delete all the application data like files, settings, accounts, and databases.

Turn off Saving Google Maps and Search History
If you often have to delete your Google Maps history and it just becomes a headache for you, then you can simply turn off the search history. It means that after turning off the history, Google will stop saving your history until you again turn it on.
So, to turn off the history, visit the Account History page, tap on Pause, and again touch Pause History. That’s all, now Google will not save your search history anymore.
Note: Pausing Google search history may limit or disable features such as Google Now, more accurate search results and predictions, and saved searches on mobile devices.
