The Best Adsense Alternatives for Bloggers

Google Adsense Alternatives

1. Media.net

If you’re looking for something exactly like Adsense, Media.net may finish your search. Just similar to Google Adsense, Media.net is also a contextual advertising program for bloggers around the world. By revenue, Media.net runs the #2 largest contextual ads program globally.

However, it’s not that easy to get approved for it. So, only apply if you’re generating good and legal traffic from search engines and publishing quality articles.

I have received an invitation from the Media.net team to join their ad program. So, I implemented one ad unit of Media.net ads on only one of the articles of AllUsefulInfo, and here’s the screenshot of the report for the last 7 days.

2. Superlinks

Unlike Adsense, Superlinks is not a contextual advertising program but still, it can be proven the best alternative to Google Adsense because of its high-quality different kinds of ads such as super display ads, super tower, super footer, etc.

Its Super Exit Links ad campaign can be a good choice for those who add lots of external links to their site and have a high bounce rate. Having a high Bounce rate is a bad thing for any site but with the help of Superlinks, you can turn this weakness into a strength by earning money with the exit links.

The minimum payout of Superlinks is $100 which can be received via PayPal, Payoneer, or Wire Transfer. To sign up for Superlinks, your blog needs to have a minimum traffic of 100,000 visitors per month.

3. Chitika

[Update: It Has Shutdown]

Similarly to Google Adsense, Chitika is a CPC advertising program helping publishers worldwide to monetize their content. One of the best things about Chitika is that you can highly customize your ad units including text color, URL color, font, and more.

Moreover, Chitika has a very low payment threshold for releasing your payment. If you select payout settings via PayPal, then $10 is the minimum threshold and if you choose payout via check, then you will have to reach $50 for releasing your payment.

4. Buysellads

Buysellads is the best monetization solution for high-quality content creators. It’s very difficult to get approved for Buysellads and you need to have great traffic to your website.

As soon as you sign up for Buysellads and submit your blog URL, it will automatically fetch your blog details like PR, Alexa Rank, and more.

After getting approved on Buysellads, you can set up Buysellads on your blog by contacting the advertisers directly.

5. Adversal

Adversal is also one of the alternatives to Google Adsense. If you’re banned by Google or waiting for its approval, then Adversal may be a good option for you because getting approved for Adversal is very easy.

Adversal requires a minimum of 50,000 page views per month to be eligible for approval. Adversal has different options for releasing your payment such as PayPal, Check, and Wire Transfer. Payments by Check or PayPal are eligible on a minimum balance of $20 USD. Bank Wire is eligible on balances of $250 USD.

6. BidVertiser

BidVertiser is another leading alternative to Google Adsense that pays publishers around the world for clicks and conversions. You simply need to display ads on your website and let the advertisers bid against each other.

BidVertiser gives you a simple point-and-click tool to help you customize the layout of the ads to fit your site’s look and feel, to retain the high quality of your website.

The best thing about BidVertiser that I like a lot is that it lets you monitor your ad performance very openly, including the number of page impressions, clicks, click-through rate, and the total amount you’ve earned so that you can improve your ad performance to the next level.

BidVertiser payments are sent via check or PayPal every month within 30 days after the end of each calendar month. Another good thing is that its minimum payment threshold is very low i.e. only $10.

7. VigLink

VigLink is another emerging advertising company that can be a good choice for publishers or bloggers who mostly link out to eCommerce or business sites.

VigLink offers three types of products, VigLink Convert, VigLink Anywhere, and VigLink Insert. For VigLink Convert and VigLink Anywhere, where you can automatically monetize existing links, they pay publishers 75% of the gross earnings. With VigLink Insert, where VigLink automatically inserts new links that didn’t exist before, you can earn an extra amount of money.

VigLink runs both kinds of methodologies while calculating your money earned – CPA (Cost Per Action or Sale)and CPC (Cost Per Click). Payments from VigLink are made through PayPal at the end of each month.

8. Infolinks

Infolinks is also commonly popular as the best Adsense alternative. Its way of presenting ads is different from Adsense, however both are contextual. Infolinks inserts the outbound links to the text on your website and makes them clickable.

Infolinks offers different ad products to implement ads on your website including InFrame, InFold, InTag, and InText. The best thing is that you can try all of these products on its homepage before you sign up.

Infolinks offers several convenient ways for publishers to receive payments: PayPal, Bank Wire, eCheck, Western Union, ACH (only for U.S. bank accounts), or Payoneer (get your Infolinks Prepaid Mastercard or use Payoneer for a local bank transfer).

Infolinks issue your payments every month (no later than 45 days from the end of the month) on the condition that your earnings have reached the minimum payment threshold of $50 or $100 if you choose a Bank Wire or Western Union Transfer.

  1. I’m not sure why but I don’t trust websites which display ads other than Adsense. Only the highest quality and honest websites display Adsense. Adsense is the best!

  2. Since Adsense is no longer as profitable as it used to, it is inevitable that bloggers will find other means that will generate them profit. Actually, I never really thought that they were this many. I’ve personally tried Infolinks and Kontera and they do in fact are capable of generating more revenue as compared to Adsense.

    • Google Adsense is always the best of all. So, I think if you’re using it, you should not think of alternatives. Just try to maintain your blog’s quality.

  4. According to the list and my knowledge media dot net is not a good option in India as they are not providing a good return while chitika is better than media dot net ya infolinks are good but Adsense is far away from these. If you have decent traffic than you can move to tribal fusion which is also a excellent option.

    • Sam, I appreciate your feedback. You’re right Tribal Fusion is honestly a great option for high traffic sites.

In case of media.net, I made hundreds of dollars from their ads by delivering only a few impressions.

I shared my story in This Post about how I made $935 from media.net ads. You must read this post. This is for all those who say media.net is a bad Adsense alternative.
