You would know it’s very easy to check the email address of the person who commented on your blog but how can you export the email addresses of all the commenters on your blog? Let me tell you how! If your blog is in WordPress, it becomes the easiest task for you to export the emails of your blog commenters.
However, there is no option in WordPress to do so but still you can do it by using a plugin that works like a charm. I tried this plugin and it’s just awesome. The plugin is Commenter Emails and it lets you do the following:
- Export all approved commenters’ email addresses in a .csv file
- It also lets you optionally include the website of the commenter
- Remove all duplicate email addresses automatically

To export the email addresses of your blog commenters, you’ll have to install the plugin called “Commenter Emails”. You can download this plugin from the WordPress Plugin Repository.
Once you install and activate the plugin, it’s almost finished. All you need to visit Comments > Commenter Emails in your WordPress admin and here you’ll see the list of email addresses of all approved comments on your blog.
As shown in the above picture, click on the Download button to download the complete email list in .csv format. Optionally, you can also include the website URLs of your commenters.
How Can You Take Benefit from These Email Addresses
Now, I will tell you what you can do with this email list of your blog commenters. As I’ve already given you a hint it’s the money! In fact, you can increase your revenue with this email list. You might be thinking how! So, let me explain.
You can add this email list to your email newsletter service to grow your subscriber list very fast. Or you can target some affiliate links of products to this email list of your blog commenters.
As I already told you the exported file will be in the form of .csv format and almost all the email marketing services provide the facility to import email lists from computers in the form of .csv format. I tried some popular email marketing services – MailChimp, GetResponse, Constant Contact, etc., all provide the importing service.
You would know how difficult it is to grow your email list. So, if you’ve thousands of comments on your blog, it is indirectly thousands of email addresses for you to be added to your email subscriber list.
So, by using your blog commenter’s email addresses you can grow your email subscriber’s list and in return increase the revenue by sending your newsletters, offers, and affiliate links to more email addresses.
