Step 1. Open the Instagram app on your smartphone.
Step 2. Tap on your profile icon in the bottom right corner.
Step 3. Find the three horizontal lines (Menu icon) in the top right corner, and tap on them.
Step 4. Now, you can see a menu will pop–up in front of you. From this menu, tap on the Your Activity option.
Step 5. Your Activity section will be opened on your screen. Scroll down and tap the Account History section.
As soon as you tap on it, your account history from the date you created your account is presented here to date, including your username, from the date you created your account. As you can see, it has a lot of old data from your privacy changes, bio changes, Email updates, etc. Nevertheless, let’s only talk about seeing previous usernames only.
Step 6. On the top, there are three filters: Newest to oldest, All dates, and Update type. To see your previous usernames on Instagram, tap the Update Type, select the Username, and then tap on Apply.
After tapping on it, your account history of changed usernames will appear on the screen. Here you can see all your previous usernames on Instagram, from your first and present username. Along with the old username, it will also tell you how old the username is.
