Before a few days, the latest LG smartphone, the LG G3 was launched in India in the presence of the legend Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. This phone is launched in two different variants including 16 GB and 32 GB variant. Many online shopping sites listed both variants of this phone for sale. The 16 GB variant is available for approximately Rs 45,000 and the 32 GB smartphone is available for Rs 49,899.

As the cost of this phone is high, anybody can imagine that a smartphone would provide brilliant features according to cost. So, I’ve written a review of this LG G3 smartphone to let you know about its merits and demerits.

LG G3

Do you really want to be aware of the pros and cons of the LG G3 smartphone? or do you really want to know whether this high-cost phone provides high-end features or not? So, this review of the LG G3 smartphone will give answers to all the questions in your mind. Still, if something is left in your mind, you can freely ask in the comment box!

Display Features

Let’s start with the display of the LG G3 smartphone. What interesting feature does its display provide? So, the smartphone has a 5.5-inch QHD IPS display with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Its screen displays 16M colors and supports a multi-touch facility. Moreover, the screen gives 1440 × 2560 pixels resolution. So, the screen features are fantastic but at such a high cost, these features are common and can be seen in other high-end smartphones too.

Smart User Interface

According to the company, the phone has a simplified user interface but I say LG G3 has a simplified as well as smart user interface. Its each function features a different color so that you can spot what you need at a glance. Similarly, each core app has its own color to make you pay instant attention to each of them.

Processor & Memory

So, what do you see in a smartphone about the processing and memory features? I know, the more, the more and more! I hope this phone will fulfill your requirements. In case of processing features the phone has a 2.5 GHz Quad Core processor. As I already told you this smartphone comes in two variants 16 GB and 32 GB. The 16 GB variant phone has 2 GB RAM and the 32 GB variant phone has 3 GB RAM to support the processor.

Camera & Operating System

If you’re going to buy this phone just for the best camera-featuring smartphone, then let me tell you that the LG G3 smartphone doesn’t provide camera features according to cost. In fact, it has a 13 MP primary camera that gives a picture quality of 4160 × 3120 pixels. Its camera has many other features such as phase detection/laser autofocus, optical image stabilization, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, 1/3” sensor size, simultaneous video and image recording, geo-tagging, face detection, HDR, etc. The secondary camera is just 2.1 MP. So, in more than this range, you can get a higher pixel camera (not the features by camera) than this smartphone.

And all you know about the operating system of this LG G3 smartphone. Still, I tell you that this phone runs on the Android KitKat operating system. It’s not something special for tech users because this OS can be found on very low-budget smartphones too. But on the QHD display of LG G3, it will be a new experience to use Android KitKat OS.

Battery Power & Connectivity

So, the phone comes with a Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery capacity. It gives up to 565 hours of standby time for 2G and up to 553 hours of standby time for 3G. Moreover, 19 hrs talk time in 2G and up to 21 hours of talk time in 3G. The battery features are awesome but the cost of this phone is also very high and in less than this range you can get more than 3000 mAh battery features in many smartphones such as Lenovo S860 has 4000 mAh battery power and is available for just Rs 20,000 (approx) in India.

The smartphone LG G3 has many connectivity options such as GPRS/EDGE, 2G/3G, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Port, etc. Not only this, the phone also supports a 4G network.

Verdict

The rating for this phone is 4 out of 5. This is because I liked everything in the smartphone but some of the features still hurt me due to the high range of this smartphone such as battery power, camera, etc. But overall I can say this is the high cost but feature-rich smartphone!
