The same WhatsApp account on two smartphones? Yes, it is possible to use one WhatsApp account on multiple devices whether you have Android, iOS, tablet, or laptop. And it is a child’s play, you can do it easily. If you want to experience it, come with me. I will guide you on how to use the same WhatsApp account on two smartphones.

Until recently, WhatsApp didn’t allow this. It was against WhatsApp’s policy. Although many users used to do it with the help of some third-party apps. Nevertheless, WhatsApp officially allows using WhatsApp on multiple devices with one phone number. According to the new policy, you can use your one WhatsApp account on 4 devices without re-verification of your phone number.

Don’t worry about your data and privacy. You will not face any type of data loss. And there will be no compromise with your privacy. WhatsApp ensures you about data losses, privacy, and end-to-end encryption if you are using an authentic way to use the same WhatsApp account on two smartphones. You will get your all old chats, media, and doc in the secondary device as well. Now, let’s come to the topic.

How To Use The Same WhatsApp Account On Two Smartphones?

Mainly, two ways are there that will let you use the same WhatsApp account on two smartphones. The first one is by using Web Scan and the other one is by using a third-party app. Both ways I described here step-by-step. So, what are you waiting for? Scroll down and check out the guide.

Method 1: WhatsApp Web

It is a WhatsApp official feature that allows you to use your WhatsApp account on any secondary device. Technically it is for desktops, not for smartphones. But, you can apply it to your smartphone as well. By using it, you can log in to your same WhatsApp account on 4 different devices.

It is a web page called WhatsApp Web, where you scan the QR code and log in to your WhatsApp account. It is the best and most authentic way to use the same WhatsApp account on two smartphones without using any third-party app.

Step 1. Go to the Google Chrome browser on your smartphone in which you want to use your same WhatsApp account and open WhatsApp Web (web.whatsapp.com). Remember one thing, you have to open the desktop site. To open the desktop site, click on three dots in the Chrome browser and tap on the Request Desktop Site option from opened menu.

Here you will see a new page with a QR code. Do nothing and stay here. Moreover, a checkbox is also there. Check it if you want to be logged in for next time as well.

Step 2. Now, on your primary smartphone, open your WhatsApp, and tap the Linked Devices option under the WhatsApp settings.

Step 3. Now, tap on Link a Device.

If you are not connected to Wi-Fi, the device will ask you to connect to Wi-Fi. Don’t worry if you don’t have any Wi-Fi connection, just use your mobile data as having an active Internet connection is required to use WhatsApp.

Step 4. QR code scanner will now be opened on your smartphone. Scan the QR code.

And here you are done. As soon as the QR code will be scanned, your WhatsApp account will open on your secondary device. Now, you can send or receive messages from your secondary device as well using the same WhatsApp account.

Method 2: Third-Party App

As I mentioned, you can also use the same WhatsApp account on two smartphones by using a third-party app. But, this feature only works on Android phones. That’s why both smartphones should be using the Android operating system only. However, multiple third-party apps are there, but here we will use Whatscan Pro.

Step 1. Download the Whatscan Pro from the Google Play Store on the secondary device on which you want to use WhatsApp.

Step 2. Open the app after downloading and select the Start option.

Step 3. Click on Whatscan Web.

Step 4. A new screen will appear with a QR code.

Step 5. Open WhatsApp on your primary phone, click on three dots, select Linked devices, click on Link a device and then scan the QR code.

After scanning the QR code, your WhatsApp account will open on the secondary smartphone. Notably, I don’t recommend you to use any third-party app to use one WhatsApp account on multiple devices. By using this method continually, WhatsApp may ban your account. Safely, you can apply this method once or twice.
