To create your first Adsense ad unit for your website, login to the Adsense program and then click on the My Ads tab as shown in the following picture. Here, in the left side panel look for a Content option. Click on Content and then click on Ad Units. Here, click on the New ad unit button.
In the next screen, name your first ad unit, select the ad size that will suit perfectly on your website, and then click on the Save and get code button.
That’s all! As soon as you, click on this Save and get code button as shown in the above picture, your first Adsense ad unit will be created and a popup will open that will show you the ad code. You need to copy that code and paste into your website to display the ads.
