If you’ve somewhat knowledge in the field of web hosting, then you would definitely know about two giant web hosts – HostGator and Bluehost. Both of them are widely popular and trusted by various leading brands. But, still, you know it’s a fact that every web host can’t suit your requirements as all have different features and different areas of specialty. So, here I’m going to compare HostGator and Bluehost so that you will be able to choose the best web hosting for your website.
You would know that some essential factors should be considered before choosing a web hosting company such as technical support, pricing, customer reviews or reputation, etc. However, Bluehost and HostGator both are reputed companies but still, both of them may not be perfect for all kinds of customers. So, here I discussed some limitations and features of both of these web hosting companies.
HostGator Vs Bluehost: Find the Best One For You
I tried both of these web hosting companies and sometimes share my experience too. In the case of HostGator, I always remained happy by their flexible support as they have all my favorite support options and Bluehost is also a good platform for those who are running a WordPress blog and looking for a WordPress hosting package.
I hosted my website on HostGator for almost 10 months but due to some migration issues, I had to move out from HostGator to Bluehost.
So, here are some special things that I experienced in both of these hosting services:
The Fantastic Technical Support of HostGator
One of the best things that always iterates in my mind when I remember the time hosting with HostGator is its fantastic support. However, Bluehost also offers nice support but sometimes I really miss the most flexible support of HostGator.
Do you know why? This is because HostGator offers all my favorite support options such as Live Chat, Phone Support, and Ticket Submission. One of the best things about HostGator is that it offers the Toll-Free Phone Support that Bluehost doesn’t.
Bluehost offers live chat support too but not for Indians. So, all Indians may face a great problem with Bluehost support because on the one hand, they don’t offer toll-free phone support and other side live chat support is also not available for Indians. So, it may be a great problem that Indians face with Bluehost.
So, in the case of technical support options, I always love HostGator as their support is very flexible and frequent. If frequent tech support is your first demand, then I will personally recommend HostGator for hosting your website.
Affordable Pricing of Bluehost
Everybody always looks for affordable pricing but sometimes misses the awesome features due to choosing the cheapest web host. So, according to me, pricing is not an important factor because if you’re making money with your website, you shouldn’t compromise with the hosting features and you should understand that your complete website depends on the web host. So, don’t give the first priority to affordable pricing. Yes, you can keep it to second priority, and the first should be the features.
In my case of mine, I used HostGator VPS plans and now with Bluehost, my site is again hosted on a VPS server. But, there is a lot of difference between pricing. Bluehost offers the VPS hosting service at a very affordable cost than HostGator but yes it is lacking some of my favorite features such as Live Chat and Toll-Free Phone support.
Quick Responses for HostGator Tickets as Compared to Bluehost
As I experienced both of the services and currently using Bluehost hosting, I can say from my self experience that the HostGator team responds faster than Bluehost to customer tickets.
Both of these hosting companies have a special and easy interface for managing your support tickets. However, the Bluehost team also doesn’t take too much time but still, as compared to HostGator it fades up in some instances.

Conclusion
The above-mentioned differences are based on my own experience. Other than the above-mentioned things there are many other factors that should be considered while choosing a web hosting company such as interface or control panel, hardware information, reputation, etc. So, both companies are highly reputed all around the world with thousands of happy customers. Both of them offer a control panel that you can adopt by paying an extra amount for it. The hardware of both companies is very powerful so you don’t worry about losing your sites or data due to any broken hardware.
But still, on seeing the above things as discussed above, HostGator is bringing up many points and I think it should. However, I recommend all the users of AllUsefulInfo to these hosting companies as I trust both of them.
So, what do you think? Are you going with HostGator or Bluehost? Put your thoughts in the comments! Also, let me know if you want to know anything else about these two web hosts or related to web hosting.
