My Single Article Made $200 By Media.net in Just 7 Days

It is really surprising to me how my single article can make $200 in just 7 days with Media.net as I found lots of bad reviews of Media.net. But, after experiencing the Media.net ads myself, I came to know that it’s really amazing.

A few days ago, Google gave me a policy violation notification because of an article on my blog that contained bad links (I think) and asked me whether to edit the content, remove ads from the content, or remove the whole content. As I was earning most of the amount from Google Adsense, I wanted to take immediate action on that policy violation notification but truly I was unable to take decision on whether to delete the whole article or remove only the ads from that article because I didn’t want to lose my Adsense account.

But, I also don’t want to remove that article as it was generating huge traffic to my blog. So, finally, I decided to remove Adsense ads from that individual article and I did the same.

Due to removing Adsense ads from that post, my daily Adsense earnings went slightly down. In the meantime, I tried a few affiliate programs to put on that article but nothing worked.

Finally, I decided to put Media.net ads on that post as fortunately I had a verified account of Media.net. So, after putting the SINGLE AD Unit of Media.net contextual ads on that SINGLE ARTICLE I saw that on the first day, I earned $40 and I really surprised at how the single article could make such money by placing only a single ad unit!

However, it’s true that initially I got better RPM but along with passing days RPM also went down, but still, with an average of $4 RPM, I made $200 with Media.net ads in just 7 days.

Media.net Earning

So, friends the motive of writing this article is that don’t turn your decision just by reading a bad Media.net review. As you know Media.net powers the Yahoo! Bing contextual ads and it should be enough for you to estimate the power of the company.

I can understand the problem of bad reviewers as Media.net didn’t work for them but it doesn’t mean that it won’t work for you too. You can see that I earned $200 from Media.net ads in 7 days, so why you can’t?

So, just keep up your hard and smart work. If you’re generating good traffic to your blog, there may be lots of sources to monetize your content but if you’re not getting enough traffic, no ad network even Adsense will be able to fulfill your desire.

  1. I agree with you, Raman. I use Media.net on my blog and I am satisfied.

I use 7 banners ads on my long pages. 3 of ads are from Media.net and I get up to $47 CPM ad requests. I’ve been a member for about two years, the CPM is still great. It’s not just for new users as many people claim.

Good work! Your screenshot will inspire people!

  3. Hello @allusefulinfo:disqus,

I found mixed reviews of media(.)net and thought to experience it myself. Initially in first 4 days I received a RPM of $2 but it dropped to $0.06 on 5th day and now to “Zero”. The person assigned to my account is asking me to wait for few “weeks” as it takes time for their system to optimize but when i asked about the ridiculous zero RPM than I didn’t receive any reply. I tried Media(.)net on planningtank(.)com which has visitors from USA and India. Is this website worth wasting few “weeks” with zero RPM in hope of a better result someday?

    • Hey Shubham,

I’ve been using media(.)net ads for last 1 year and of course I faced some downfall in the RPM but never had ZERO RPM.

I’m still earning with media(.)net ads.

If you’re not generating good from their ads even after taking help of your account manager, you should use another ads, and most importantly concentrate upon your productivity of content not ads.

      • Hello Raman,
thank you for your reply. I tried contacting the account manager but he replied only once and now he is not responding. The content on my website is of good quality and unique. Also about 50% of visitors are from tier 1 countries. I am bit amazed to find zero RPM. Maybe media.net won’t work in my case. Can you suggest some other ad network for educational and aviation industry website?

    • Yes Renu,

I’m getting the payment from media.net every month from past 1 year. I think there would be any problem with your account details or something else.

It would be great if you contact your account manager for the same.

      Thanks.

  5. Yes i was previous publisher at media.net, it is good while If you are looking high payer network then try sisterads, poptm or popads. I recommend sisterads.com its cpm rate is higher than poptm and popads. Also you can talk on skype if facing any issues quick live support. If you have good traffic then you can become premium publisher and will be paid daily cpc rate more than $5 for US/CA/AU/UK. GO to sisterads and ignore others
