Yesterday my mind distracted a lot when I found my credit card had been deducted a small amount of money by Facebook ads, even though no ad campaign was running. Yes, I promoted one of my pages on Facebook a few weeks ago and that’s why I was not sure that if there was any outstanding balance that may not have yet been billed to my credit card and a few amount of money deducted from my credit card. That’s why I decided to remove my credit card from the Facebook ads manager until I promote my page again. But, there was no way to delete your credit card from the Facebook ads manager. In fact, you can only remove your credit card from Facebook by deactivating your Facebook ads account temporarily. So, guys, this article will teach you how can you remove your credit card from the Facebook ads manager by deactivating your Facebook ads account.
That’s not only the reason for removing your credit card from Facebook but one more reason that’s actually a mistake made by me many times and forced me to deactivate my Facebook ads account to remove your credit card information. Truly, it happened many times with me and my colleague that we mistakenly click on the promote page or boost post button, and a new ad campaign gets started in a few seconds, and credit card gets deducted. I know it was my fault, but as we all know that each human can make mistakes so it will be good to remove your credit card to be remiss about these mistakes.

Remove Credit Card From Facebook Ads Manager
As I already told you, deactivating your Facebook ads account will automatically delete your credit card information. To do so, first of all, you’ll to log in to your Facebook account and visit this URL https://www.facebook.com/ads/manager/account/settings.
Now, in the Facebook ad account settings, scroll down the page to the most bottom and click on the link Deactivate Ad Account.
A popup will open in front of you asking the reason for deactivating the account. So, tick on the appropriate reason from the given choices or write your own and finally click on the Deactivate Ad Account button.
That’s it! Deactivating your Facebook ad account may take up to 2 business days. If there is any outstanding balance in your account, it will be charged to your credit card before deactivating your account. As soon as your outstanding balance is settled, along with deactivating your ad account your credit card will also be removed from Facebook.
