In one of my previous posts, I discussed about how to email and print the WhatsApp chat conversation. Today, with a similar niche I’m going to tell you how can you print out your text messages or any SMS conversation through your Android phone.

There might be several reasons why you may need a hard copy of your text messages as evidence of the conversation with any phone contact.

As you would know Android by default doesn’t provide any option to take print of text messages, so here I will use an alternative method to get the task done and I’m sure you will find it very simple.

Here’s How to Print Text Messages (SMS) from Android

So, while Android doesn’t provide any such kind of option for printing text messages, in case of an alternative method, you will need to take the backup of your text messages or SMS conversation in your Gmail account and then you will be able to print the text messages out of your inbox.

By the way, firstly your task is to take the text messages out of your Android phone (in fact, on your Gmail inbox). For this, you will need an Android app to back up your Android phone SMS in your Gmail account. The SMS Backup+ (this app is no more available on the Google Play Store) Android app will help you to do so. Now, primarily you need to install this app on your Android phone.

Once you install the app on your Android phone, you will need to connect your Google account to the app to send the backup to your inbox. For this, open the SMS Backup+ app, tap on the Connect option, and choose your Gmail account to connect with the app.

In the next step, it will grant permission from you and you will need to allow access by touching the Allow Access button as shown in the following screenshot.

    • Yes, this app only emails new messages to your Gmail and therefore you can print all the SMS that are received after the app is installed.
