As we all know that Google changed the look of it’s Gmail Inbox by adding a tabbed bar. By default there are three tabs are shown – Primary, Social and Promotions. Any time if you want to hide any of these tabs or show them afterward, there is also an option provided by Google. So, you can hide or show individual tabs in your Gmail’s tabbed inbox. This article guides how to show or hide individual tabs in your Gmail tabbed inbox.

So, without wasting time, I start the procedure and move on to the important steps to make changes in your Gmail tabbed inbox. Now, see the following steps to learn how to show or hide individual tabs in Gmail’s tabbed inbox:

  • Sign in to your Gmail account and Click on Plus Button just after the last inbox tab.

  • Now, in the new pop-up screen, select or neglect tabs by ticking them. Ensure here which tab you want to show or hide. Note that Primary tab can not be ticked or removed.

At last, Click on Save to make changes. That’s all guys, you have  done. Try it yourself. It’s very easy to hide or show individual tabs in your Gmail’s tabbed inbox.
