How to Embed Only a Tweet Reply on Your Website or Blog?

Twitter makes it very easy to embed Tweets and conversations for its users to spread awareness. It allows users to embed any Tweet or the Tweet reply by just copy and posting the embed code.

A few days back, I needed to embed a Tweet reply on my website but what I found that the complete thread embedded along with the reply I wanted to embed. What actually I wanted to embed is only the Tweet reply.

To embed a Tweet from Twitter, you need to click on the dropdown arrow icon, choose “Embed Tweet”, and paste the code from the screen to the HTML section of your website. The same procedure works for embedding any Tweet reply.

Here’s How to Embed Only a Tweet Reply on Your Website

When you normally embed a Tweet’s reply, then it embeds along with the original Tweet. So, if you want to embed only the reply of a Tweet without the original Tweet on your website, Twitter lets you customize how you would like to embed the Tweet on your website.

You need to follow very simple steps to embed only a Tweet reply in your blog post. First of all click on the dropdown arrow on the Tweet reply that you would like to embed in your website and click the “Embed Tweet” option from the dropdown.

Now, on the next screen, you’ll find an embedding code along with the preview of how exactly the Tweet reply will be displayed on your website. As you can see, the original Tweet is also visible along with the reply you’re embedding.

As if you want to embed only the Tweet reply without the original Tweet, click on the “Set Customization Options” link, and tick the “Hide Conversation” option to limit context in this Tweet. This will hide the original Tweet and only Tweet reply will be visible.

It allows you some more customizations like the look of the Tweet you’re embedding; Dark or Light, language, etc. Once you’re all set, simply copy the code and paste it in the HTML section of your website or blog wherever you want to embed it. It’s that simple.
