Here’s how you can conduct an opinion poll on Google Plus. As I told you previously by using any of the two methods you can create opinion polls on Google Plus, I named them as Old method and the New method (Standard Method).
The Standard Method to Conduct Polls on G+
First of all, I would like to tell you about the new or the most standard method for conducting opinion polls on Google Plus. It’s very easy to perform as compared to the old method.
So, to conduct opinion polls on Google Plus, just log in first and then open the status-sharing box. Now click on the Poll button as shown in the following picture.
After clicking on this Poll button, you will need to ask a question for your opinion poll and give the choices to be selected by the public. You can also add photos along with your choices.
So, in this way, you can post opinion polls on Google Plus very easily. Your published poll should look like the following.
That’s all, just wait for the public opinions on your poll. If you don’t want people to comment on your poll, you can disable comments for that individual post, you might be thinking about how to look at the last step of the old method for conducting polls.

Old Method to Conduct Opinion Polls on Google Plus
In this method, just open the status update box, ask your polling question, and share without doing anything else.
It’s not the end guys, now add the comments as your polling choices. and disable the comments for that post that’s why nobody can add more comments to your poll. To disable comments, click on the Options Menu button on the post and click on Disable Comments as shown in the following picture.
It’s all. In this method of conducting opinion polls, you will collect public opinion polls in the form of plus ones to the comments.
Conclusion
I recommend you not to use the second method if the first mentioned method is available for your profile because it is not the standard method to conduct opinion polls, in fact, it was just an improvised way for conducting opinion polls when there was no standard method available to do so. That’s why, I recommend you to use the inbuilt Polling option of Google Plus for conducting polls as mentioned in the first method.
