These days video calling is one of the most favorite choices of communication for everyone. As WhatsApp is the most popular instant messaging application, it’s easily possible to find it on every smartphone. But, due to the unavailability of a video calling feature in WhatsApp, most of its users get disappointed.
People have been waiting for the video calling feature in WhatsApp for a long time to have effortless face-to-face communication with their WhatsApp friends.
And, here comes the time when you’ll be able to start making video calls with your friends on WhatsApp. In fact guys, WhatsApp starts rolling out the video calling feature for its Android users.
Available to Users on WhatsApp Beta for Android
The latest WhatsApp beta app brings this video calling feature which is currently available only to those users who are part of the company’s official Android beta testing program.
The functionality appears to be working across several WhatsApp beta versions, from v2.16.316 onwards.
In case, you’re not part of the beta testing program, will get a prompt saying “Couldn’t place call” followed by text, “Couldn’t place a call. Recipient [name of contact being called] needs to update WhatsApp to receive video calls.”
Unfortunately, it’s not now sure about its availability to all users of WhatsApp. However, it has been planned to be rolled out for many months but now WhatsApp took a decision to start rolling out video calling to its beta version. Once the testing is fine and satisfied, it should soon be available to all users.

How to Use WhatsApp Video Calling if You’re in?
First of all, you need to make sure if this video calling feature is available for you or not because it’s now not rolling out for everyone, instead just to selected users, even those who’re using the WhatsApp beta version.
First of all, update your WhatsApp to the latest version to ensure that this feature is rolled out for you or not. And if it’s rolling out for you, you can try making video calls.
The new video calling feature can be accessed via the calls tab. For making a video call, you will have to tap on the dialler icon present alongside the search icon. After pressing the dialler icon, you will get an option to either make a WhatsApp voice call or a video call. Here you can tap on the Video call option to start a face-to-face conversation with your WhatsApp contact.
It’s worth noting that the feature will work only when the caller and the recipient are part of the Android beta testing program.

And after getting positive feedback on this release, it might be launched officially for every WhatsApp user, though there’s no statement about its original release to all users.
